Why am I not receiving OTP SMS messages?
Some services block SMS delivery to VoIP or toll-free numbers. This includes Google, Meta (Instagram/WhatsApp), and certain banks. If a service rejects your Baadio number, try connecting Gmail instead — most services also send OTP codes by email. We are actively working to expand our number pool with carrier-grade numbers.
How do I connect my Gmail account?
Go to Settings → Gmail Sync and tap "Connect Gmail". You will be redirected to Google to authorise read-only access to your inbox. Baadio only reads emails that match OTP patterns — it never reads, stores, or shares any other email content.
How long are OTP codes stored?
OTP codes are marked as expired 15 minutes after they arrive. Full message records are retained for 30 days so you can review recent activity, then automatically deleted. You can delete your entire account and all data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone.
What are Trusted Contacts?
Trusted Contacts are people you designate to help you recover your account if you ever lose access. You can add up to five contacts from Settings → Trusted Contacts. This feature is part of our upcoming account recovery flow — contacts you add now will be available when the full recovery system launches.
